Scientific research and experimental design works

The enterprise performs scientific research and experimental design works in the field of aviation instrument-making, masters and introduces advanced technologies, develops complex debugging and control benches. Systems approach to manufacturing processes is realized, from designing to direct output of completed products.

A number of departments under the leadership of the general designer of “Aviaavtomatika” named after V. Tarasov” JSC is engaged in scientific-research and experimental-design works. The enterprise heads for development of scientific-theoretical support of basic subjects and new directions of activity mastering, application of up-to-date technologies, complex approach to equipment designing in close collaboration with aircraft building enterprises, leading academic institutes and organizations of Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which guarantees creation of high technical level products for use in military and civil industry.

Stores managements systems

Development and manufacture of stores management systems SMS (SUO, for its Russian initials) for battle aerial vehicles (AV) of different purpose – is a priority activity direction of “Aviaavtomatika” named after V. Tarasov” JSC. Developed in Kursk SMS are installed at almost all airplanes and helicopters, operated in Russia and export supplied. Development program of this direction provides for creation of high-reliable SMS with extended functional and performance characteristics for modernized and newly-created aerial vehicles, including for long-distance aviation and unmanned battle aerial vehicle.

Jammers dispensing facilities in JSC Aviaavtomatika of V.V.Tarasov which are functionally integrated with SUO and providing protection of AV with high efficiency due to use of intellectual interfering cartridges of new generation are developed.

Data acquisition, control and recording systems

Data acquisition, control and recording systems

Manufactured at the enterprise data acquisition, control and recording system on solid-state memory (“black boxes”), complies with requirements of international standards. Project-composable multiblock systems of “KARAT” type for MiG-29 airplanes and its modifications, Yak-130, IL-20. Designing and introducing of portable protected recorders of CVDR (“MBR” and “MZBN” for its Russian initials) type on Yak-40, L-410 airplanes, Mi-171A2, K-62, Eurocopter and other helicopters is being performed. Special attention is paid to protected memory modules development. Some solutions in this direction already became know-how components and are of interest of different application fields besides aircraft instruments-making.

The enterprise develops operating controls OC (OOU for its Russian initials) for aerial vehicles (AV), UAV and ground armored machinery. Set of software and hardware facilities of any type AV includes reliable compact OC, developed on contact groups and eddy-current sensitive elements, forming manual control analog signals and one-time instructions issue; OC interfaces with avionics.

Developments and manufacturing of power supplies on basis of lithium-ion batteries and ionistors for AV, UAV and robotic complexes are carries out.

Solid-state load controllers

Solid-state load controllers

Line of solid-state load controllers SLC (TKN, for its Russian initials), represented powerful intellectual keys, intended for power electromagnetic relay and contactors (for current from 2 to 30 A), applied in domestic manufactured devices as direct current patch circuits is developed at the enterprise. The controllers are manufactured in form factor, allowed easy device mounting on special heat-removals, as well as on structural parts of unit housing.

Composite nanostructural materials

Composite nanostructural materials

Heat-accumulating, heat-absorbing and heat-shielding composite structural parts on basis of new composite nanostructural compounds are being developed on the ground of scientific-research laboratory of material science and nanotechnologies. Structural parts preserve from destruction electronic memory modules, important mechanisms and assemblies, switching systems under long-term high-temperature exposure (from 100° C to 1100° C). The developments are performed in cooperation with the leading academic Scientific Research Institutes of RF.
